Memorial Sloan Kettering Video Project-Curing Cancer One Light Bulb At A Time

I recently had the chance to create a video for Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City.  I worked with an amazing creative team to shoot over 80 planned shots in two days dozens of locations.  The purpose of the project was to capture the single-minded purpose of the employees and staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.  While there was a large internal audience purpose for the project, I think it resonates externally very well too.

During the process of creating the video I became aware of the monumental effort and dedication of a cancer-fighting team that is far beyond the researchers and medical staff we see in fundraising videos.  I personally met dozens of employees who have dedicated 20 years or more to the mission of curing cancer by creating great meals, keeping the facilities open and safe, and making sure supplies and equipment get exactly where they need to be to support the team. The folks at MSK are an inspiring crew and I want to thank them for sharing their time and stories with us.

I was assisted in capturing their daily routines and work by a talented group of collaborators from Red J Media Design, Sublime Eye, McKay Lyall, and McNaudio Media Solutions. Thanks for your help and thanks to everyone at Memorial Sloan Kettering for your tremendous work!
