Mountain Bed
The sun surrenders and begins her rest
behind the swelling limbs of an oak tree.
White sheets of a mountain bed move
with the rhythm of caramel curves slipping free.
Chocolate is the gaze sensing this hunger
and altering thoughts of sugar into fire.
Songs of sweet release rise to sunset clouds
and create a delicate rain fresh with desire.
Brown ringlets caress the sensuous curves
as earth sighs from the pressure of pleasure.
The moon climbs higher in pursuit of stars
while gently lighting love without measure.
