II. starvation (abruption cycle)

months without your low feral moans
your echo haunts the wall
your pulse still hums beneath the floor
touch what remains

i long for you to haunt this bed
you pressed me into dust
the silence tastes like metal rain
i drink it whole

i kiss the dark like it is you
and claw the empty sheets
i starve from lives we never lived
you echo on
