New Fine Art Print Released: Summer Storms Over Tres Hermanas Mountains

Located in Southern New Mexico, this mountain range consists of a group of 4900 to 5800 foot peaks occupying an area of about thirty- eight square miles. They are a series of volcanoes which were active in the Tertiary period (65 million years ago to 1.8 million years ago).  The area is covered in small mineral prospecting pits having been mined for zinc, lead, silver, gold, copper, onyx, and semiprecious gem stones.
